Production employee

Do you like to work with your hands and does everyone around you always come to you for chores around the house? Then this job is definitely for you! We are looking for a production employee who wants to work full-time at the composite workshop of this company. Your working days are from Monday to Friday from 07:00 - 16:00.

The company is a leading business specialized in the production of composite constructions for infrastructure in Breukelen. They proudly design and manufacture various high-quality products, such as composite bridges, hybrid bridges and other custom constructions. The company has an informal work culture in which drive, involvement and personal responsibility are central. Composites are fibre-reinforced plastics and excellently suited to replace steel, concrete and wood.As a production employee you will support the composite workshop team. You will work under the supervision of our production manager and foremen, producing and assembling various composite products. You will do this in collaboration with the work planner and production engineer. In this position you are prepared to work hard, even if this means that you occasionally get dirty while working with various raw materials. You are flexible, can work independently, but are also good in a team. You will be working in a friendly team within a family business based in Breukelen. 

The job is full-time with working hours from 07:00 to 16:00. Sometimes you'll be ask to work overtime, but this is always done in consultation with you.
The following activities are expected from you:

• Manual lamination of composites
• Carrying out gelcoat spraying
• Prepare fiber lay-up for vacuum injection
• Carrying out vacuum injection processes
• Sawing, sanding and finishing products 

If you are handy, these activities can be learned. Experience with the above activities is not necessary. A technical background is not essential for this position, but is certainly an advantage if you already have this knowledge. And experience with composite materials is a big plus, but not a requirement.

• Gross hourly wage of €14.50 to €16.50 based on knowledge and experience

Wat vragen wij van je:

• You have a technical background
• You are practical and handy attitude
• Experience with composite materials is a plus
• You are willing to get your VCA diploma through us
• It is a plus if you have a forklift diploma
• Good communication skills in English. If you can also speak Dutch, that's great!
