Orderpicker

Omschrijving

Your working day begins at 06:00 AM. After clocking in, you join the daily team briefing where important updates regarding safety, quality, and operations are shared. This helps everyone start the day informed and ready to work efficiently.

Once the briefing is finished, you check your schedule for the day. Depending on the daily workload, your shift can end anywhere between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, giving you plenty of time for other activities after work.

After collecting your equipment and putting on your headset, you're ready to get started. You will drive an electric trolley through the auction halls while receiving instructions through your headset. The system guides you to the correct locations where flower and plant carts need to be picked up and delivered.

What will you do?
As an Order Picker, you play a key role in keeping the logistics operation running smoothly. Your responsibilities include:

Collecting flower and plant carts from designated locations.
Transporting carts safely to the correct destination within the auction halls.
Scanning floor barcodes to register each completed delivery.
Verifying that the quantities of flowers and plants match the provided information.
Following logistical routes accurately to ensure timely deliveries.
The scanning and checking process is essential to maintain an efficient and accurate operation. By working carefully and precisely, you help prevent delays and ensure customers receive their orders on time.

During your shift, you will also have time to enjoy a break with your colleagues before continuing your work. Once all tasks are completed, you simply clock out and enjoy the rest of your day.

Why is this role important?
Without Order Pickers, the entire logistics process would slow down. Flowers and plants would not arrive at the right locations on time, creating delays throughout the supply chain. Your work ensures that products move efficiently through the auction and reach their destinations without disruption.
