Logistics Employee Part-time Job

Every morning, you start your day at 6:00 AM. You clock in and attend the daily briefing, where your team leader discusses improvement and safety points. Then, you check the screen to see what time you will finish work, which varies daily between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. You also see how many carts need to be processed. After that, you put on your headphones and get on your electric cart. Through your headphones, you hear where you need to be. You follow the numbers in the hall and pick up your cart there.

What you will do is move flowers and plants on the cart to the right places. Then you go to the final destination and place the cart there. Before leaving your spot, you scan the barcode on the floor and check if the number of flower pots/plant pots is correct. Now it's time for your first break of the day, where you catch up with your colleagues. Your workday is already over, and you clock out with your pass.

In this role, you are the one who ensures that the flowers and plants get to the right place. If this position is not filled, the work comes to a standstill, the carts cannot be moved on time, and everything gets messed up. This causes delays in the process and a messy workday. You ensure that everything runs smoothly. You achieve this by:

• Picking up and moving the carts to the right place.
• Scanning the barcodes on the floor to record everything correctly.
• Checking if the quantities of flower pots/plant pots are correct.

Before you start, you will have two training days where the logistics process is explained. You work on weekdays and are free on weekends. You can choose to work 5 days or 3 days, depending on what suits you best. The minimum number of working days is 2 days per week. If you work 5 days a week, you work 20-25 hours per week. Requesting a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) may be part of the selection procedure.
