What you’ll do:
Eneco steers its assets in real time where they change the production of the assets every few seconds. However, some of the assets may not respond as fast as they like. Therefore, they dynamically change the production and reallocate the required production over the assets. You will model a control system to dynamically (re-)allocate the production over the assets. You will be guided in the process of the requirements of the model, but you will take the lead in the project to create, simulate and validate the model.
You will work together with cloud developers and product managers to get your model into production asap. Practical Experience in programming and simulation strategies. They have a team of developers that will take the model into production once the model is evaluated successfully.

You’ll be responsible for:

• You’re the model architect. You create, simulate and validate a model that suits our business requirements concerning smart allocation of production for our assets.

This is where you’ll work: 

You’re able to work at the office at least 1 day per week at the office. You’ll work closely with the Myriad team, responsible for the Virtual Power Plant. Also, you will work with traders to set the business requirements and to evaluate of the model.

• A salary starting from €13,50 - € 15,00 gross per hour;

Wat vragen wij van je:

• You can work independently, but you’re comfortable asking questions and to work with a team;
• A finished Bachelor’s in engineering;
• Strong interest in control engineering, complex systems engineering, and robotics.
• Extensive knowledge on control system concepts.
• Experience in Python
• Availability to work at main office in Rotterdam at least once a week
