You will start as a logistics employee at Royal FloraHolland Aalsmeer. Royal FloraHolland has existed since 1910 and is the largest flower auction in the world. 43 million flowers and 5 million plants are sold every week. Fortunately, there is enough space for this, as the building where you will work is the size of 200 football fields.

Are you 18 years or older, at least 1.65 meters tall, and available in the mornings? Then we are looking for you! We are looking for logistics employees who don't mind getting up early in the morning. As a logistics employee at Royal FloraHolland, your working day starts at 05:45. You grab a cup of coffee or tea and have a chat with your colleague. The day start starts at 06:00. In the day start they tell you how many carts there are, what the ending time is and other special details for the day. After the day start, you walk to your workplace, and you can start distributing the flowers or plants. You will do this job with an electric vehicle. You drive this through the entire hall to ensure that all buyers receive what they have bought. You start every day at 06:00. The ending time is different every day, but it is usually between 10:00 and 12:00. This gives you time for other things in the afternoon. If you work 5 days, you will work about 15 to 25 hours per week, depending on the work available.

At Royal FloraHolland, we are looking for a logistics employee to help distribute flowers and plants. This is a part-time position with early shifts starting at 6:00 a.m.What you can expect:<ul><li>You will start with a paid two-day training course, during which you will learn how to work with our electric tractors and the voice picking system.</li><li>You will then receive 12 weeks of guidance so that you can be trained step by step.</li><li>Your work revolves around accuracy and structure: counting, distributing and processing flower boxes correctly is very important.</li></ul>Your working week:<ul><li>Working days: Monday to Friday.</li><li>Availability: at least 3 days per week.</li><li>With a 5-day working week, you will work an average of 20–25 hours, depending on how busy the auction is.</li></ul>Good to know: A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) may be part of the application process.

As an order picker at Royal FloraHolland, you will be working at the flower auction, where you will use an electric tug to move flowers and plants. The products are placed on carts, which you will transport using either a headset or a terminal, depending on the department you are assigned to.Please note: You will be randomly assigned to different departments, which means you may also be placed in the cold storage area. The cold storage is, of course, colder, but we will provide you with a warm jacket and gloves so you can work comfortably. The work process is the same as regular order picking, but keep in mind that you’ll be working in a colder environment. Please be aware of this.In the flower department, you will use a headset that is trained to recognize your voice and respond to your commands. In the plant department, the process is similar, but you will work with a terminal that gives you instructions on which carts to move. Once you have moved the carts to the designated location, you will check to ensure everything is correct.Your workday starts every morning at 06:00 AM. After clocking in, your day begins with a team briefing, where your team leader will go over the most important points of the day, such as safety and improvement updates. After that, you can check the screen to see what time your workday will end (between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM) and how many carts you need to process that day. Then, you put on your headset and hop on your electric tug. Using the headset or terminal, you will receive clear instructions on where to go and where to deliver the carts. You follow the numbers in the hall to pick up your assigned carts.

Would you like to work in a dynamic environment where you are surrounded by the most beautiful flowers and plants every day? As a logistics employee at Royal FloraHolland, you will ensure that all customers get their flowers and plants delivered the same day. Every morning the auction starts early at the flower auction. All the flowers and plants that have been sold have to reach the customers as quickly as possible. That's what you will do in the logistics process. Using an electric vehicle, you pick up a cart full of sold flowers. After you have scanned it, you hear through your headset where you have to go to get it on the right customer cart. When all carts of the day are distributed, your job is done and you can go home satisfied. The start time is daily at 06:00 and the end times may vary due to how many flowers have been sold that day, but they are often between 10:00 and 12:00. Na de dagstart pak jij een elektrische trekker en pak jij de eerste kar bloemen van de dag. De bloemen op deze kar verdeel jij zorgvuldig met behulp van een headseat waar jij door hoort waar je heen moet rijden. De eindtijd is elke dag weer anders, omdat dit er helemaal aan ligt hoeveel karren wij hebben voor die dag. De starttijd is standaard 06:00 en de eindtijd ligt vaak tussen 10:00 en 12:00. Hierdoor ben je lekker op tijd klaar om je weer bezig te houden met andere dingen.Bij de intake krijg jij een rondleiding van ons door Royal FloraHolland waarbij je precies ziet wat het werk inhoud en wat er van jou verwacht wordt. Voordat je start met werken zijn er 2 betaalde inwerkdagen. Op deze dagen wordt alles uitgelegd over het logistieke proces. Ook leer je omgaan met de headset en het rijden op de elektrische kar. Bij Royal FloraHolland wordt er doordeweeks gewerkt van maandag t/m vrijdag. Als je 5 dagen per week werkt, kan je gemiddeld rekenen op 20-25 uur per week.
