Would you like to work in a dynamic environment where you are surrounded by the most beautiful flowers and plants every day? As a logistics employee at Royal FloraHolland, you will ensure that all customers get their flowers and plants delivered the same day. Every morning the auction starts early at the flower auction. All the flowers and plants that have been sold have to reach the customers as quickly as possible. That's what you will do in the logistics process.
Using an electric vehicle, you pick up a cart full of sold flowers. After you have scanned it, you hear through your headset where you have to go to get it on the right customer cart. When all carts of the day are distributed, your job is done and you can go home satisfied. The start time is daily at 06:00 and the end times may vary due to how many flowers have been sold that day, but they are often between 10:00 and 12:00. For a work week of 5 days you can count on approximately 20-25 hours per week.
At your intake on location, you will first get a tour from us where we show you everything about the work at Royal FloraHolland and what is expected of you. Before you actually start working, you will also get 2 paid training days at Royal FloraHolland where everything will be explained to you about safety rules, the process and your tasks so you will come to work prepaired for the job.
