Garbagemen

Do you like working outdoors? Are you in good physical condition? And do you live in the Greater Amsterdam area, Schiphol, Hoofddorp and everything in between? We are looking for a garbage man or woman (loader) for our client Meerlanden. You earn a salary of € 12.54 - € 14.33 / hour. This depends on age and experience. You will receive a travel allowance of € 0.21 per kilometer and additional fringe benefits. The working days are from Monday to Friday and you work on average from 07:00 to about 16:00. What does your day as a loader or garbage man / woman look like?

You go out with a driver and colleague to collect the waste in the neighborhood. This waste is packaged in bags or containers. Your day starts between 07:00 or 07:30, after a cup of coffee you jump on the car and go on the road with the driver and another colleague.Your working day usually ends between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This depends on your start time and the size of the route. The work must be finished and when it is done you can finish! On average you are ready around 3:00 PM, but there may be days when this is a little later. We ask for some flexibility in this.

NB! Your starting location is Rijsenhout. This location is difficult to reach by public transport, so possession of a bicycle, moped or car is desirable. If you do come by public transport, this is about a 20-minute walk to the starting location!

Meerlanden is a company that focuses on waste processing in the municipalities of Diemen, Lisse, Hillegom, Heemstede and Rijsenhout. They empty all gray (residual waste), green (GFT) and underground containers. In addition, they take care of the collection of separated waste of old paper, plastic (PMD) and glass.

• A starting salary of € 12.54 gross per hour for 18 years and older;

• Weekly payment on Tuesday (also possible every 4 weeks);
• 3.5% year-end bonus (you accrue this pro rata);
• 8.33% holiday allowance paid in May;

• Possibility to obtain your VCA basic certificate at the expense of Actief Werkt;
• If functioning properly, there are sufficient opportunities to grow into Driver;
• If you progress to Chauffeur, Actief werkt will pay for your Driver's License C;

Wat vragen wij van je:

• Good command of the Dutch language or English language;
• Physically in very good condition and prepared to perform physically demanding work;
• In possession of a VCA basic certificate, or willing to obtain this within 3 months.
